Coastal Logic, Inc. Announces the Immediate Availability of its MatrixOne PLM integration printLogic 4.7.5

New and Enhanced Features Provide Greater Flexibility and Increase Efficiency

June 22, 2006 - Coastal Logic, Inc., the leading provider of Batch Printing and PDF rendering integrations for MatrixOne PLM, today announced to the immediate availability of printLogic 4.7.5

printLogic is a server-based web integration that allows users to batch print files directly from their MatrixOne PLM databases without using the native application to first open or view them. Printed files can be automatically stamped with metadata based on multiple stamp templates created by the Matrix Administrator. Administrators use a simple point-n-click interface for comprehensive control over all printing and metadata stamping settings, all of which are layered on top of Matrix privileges. New features in printLogic 4.7.5, like the Schema Traversal component, enable organizations to streamline their processes and become more efficient.

"The new schema traversal functionality allows Administrators to build complex statements describing how to locate and checkout supporting files necessary for the accurate printing of some complex CAD drawings, such as Unigraphics (UG) and ProEngineer (ProE)." said Wayne Hoit, Vice President of Coastal Logic. "This flexible feature eliminates the need to create intermediate, generic printable files like HPGL
or PLT, and allows the printing of the 2D drawing directly from within the native
CAD file."

       applied to prints, including images, with the point-n-click Admin interface
   •  Packetized Printing - Allows the grouping of multiple files into a single print job
   •  Report Tab -Instantly generates a complete report of all print parameters
   •  Matrix 10.6 & Firefox 1.06+ compatible
